With women becoming prominent, our sons may feel inferior in their maleness.
Here’s a biblical perspective.
From Boys to Men
As I mentioned last time, women are now occupying professions that were at one time predominantly occupied by men. These include education, politics, mental health, medicine, and other fields that tell us how to think, feel and act.
Although the term patriarchy now has its own negative connotations, God’s ecosystem never encourages a matriarchy. Yes, men have certainly failed in leadership down through the years, but this is no reason for our sons to believe that they are inferior to their female counterparts.
A biblical worldview is what raising boys into men require. So celebrate your son’s testosterone and encourage him to be responsible.
