The Changing Landscape of the American Family

We’ve talked about today’s young people having lesser regard for patriotism and religion, but why don’t they want to have kids of their own? Well, it’s multifaceted, so we’ll be landing right here for a few more days.

It all starts with self-centeredness initiated by their postmodern worldview, and how this self-centeredness is now fueled 24/7 via their digital devices. They will unwittingly sacrifice the long term spiritual joy of their posterity for fleeting short term carnal indulgences. We must consistently model our priorities – God, family, and country – over materialism and other temporal gains.
