Snooping is necessary and good for your kids.
Don’t believe it?
Snooping
Considering the importance of an individual’s right to their own peace and dwelling, do I have the right to go snooping through my teenager’s dresser drawers or internet history? Unless your teen’s name is on the mortgage, they don’t own a dwelling. And they probably also didn’t pay for their dresser, phone, or computer either. But even if they did they are still in your name and in a room that you have allowed them to occupy.
Any good parent who understands the times we live in today will exercise not just the right to search their child’s room, dresser, phone, and computer, but also the responsibility and obligation to. If your child says, “Stay out of my room!” be sure to remind them whose room it really is. In today’s world, this is just good parenting.
