A Ridiculous Notion

When I ask parents how much better their parenting experience would be if their kids didn’t have smartphones, they simply gasp and sigh. Then they look at me as if asking the question was ridiculous.

They know the poison smartphones can bring, not just to their kid’s hearts and minds, but to their relationship with them as well. Then I ask why they just don’t remove smartphones from the equation in lieu of flip phones. Again, I get a gasp, but no sigh. That would be like making their kids go to school naked.

The risk of Junior being ostracized is literally out of the question in their minds. So I say pick your poison parents. Your family can suffer for being wise or otherwise.
