Making the World a Better Place

As our kids reach their teen years, we do them and our posterity justice by discussing social issues and asking their opinions on current events. These are events that will shape their futures because our kids will be the next generation of movers, shakers, and policymakers that can either positively or negatively impact our nation’s future.

And who knows! It just might be one of our kids that actually runs for office or sets the policies that will make life better for the whole world. But it starts by engaging in healthy dialogue with our kids now.

I’m talking about the kind of dialogue that fosters responsibility, maturity, and stimulates a genuine sense of patriotism while developing a healthy concern for others, fulfilling the golden rule, and living the abundant life.
