Now that we’ve thoroughly examined what made America of old so great, it’s time to look toward the future. What can we do, as a nation, to make America great once again?
Forgiveness: The Key to Greatness
For days, I’ve given reasons to believe that America, as a whole, needs to become great “again.” We know there were things about America that weren’t great at all. But, for our kids’ sake, know that the only thing that’s ever going to make America truly great, and healed, for everyone is forgiveness.
We can’t change our past, so let’s cut our losses short by forgiving one another, and teaching our kids to do the same. Let’s start by forgiving ourselves, and even our ancestors, for any injustices we may have been a part of. For some of us, it’ll mean forgiving our neighbors, or the ancestors of our neighbors. Our kids need to know that the bad chapters of an otherwise good book are over.
