Listen Now: Walking the Walk
So, how then, can we better invite our kids to walk alongside us in following Jesus? What ways can we better ourselves to be a shining light for Him?
The Influence of Hypocrisy on Our Kids
If there’s one thing that will turn our kids away from us, and God, it’s hypocrisy. Our kids’ buy-in to a biblical worldview is heavily determined by the degree in which we are walking the walk. And this only comes to the degree that we submit ourselves to our Lord Jesus Christ.
Without a strong relationship with Christ, hypocrisy is universal-both in and outside the church. As Christian parents, we’ll take a greater amount of heat in this area, simply because we claim a better way over our secular counterparts.
