Can we remember what it means to be a true friend?

True Friends

From an early age, we need to consistently remind our kids what makes a good friend. Proverbs 18:24 says, “A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” Social media can give our kids many companions which they call friends, but do they really know what a friend is? Or how to choose one?

It is okay to help your kids choose their friends, but it may be even more important to help them define what a true friend is in the first place. It is not someone who always agrees with them or likes them on social media.
