So many Christian ministers today tend to teach largely from the warm, positive side of the parenting paradigm. I thank God for these ministers since we live in a time when the church and parents need to be encouraged. However, there is also a time when straight talk is needed- something not so popular in today’s post-modern culture. This approach has never been popular. You can see this in all the Old Testament prophets and the fate of the New Testament apostles and early church! 

If this podcast doesn’t always come across as warm and positive as others you may be used to just remember that it is because I love you! And like a fully charged battery, love is only complete when positive and negative work in unity.
