Is there a way to ensure our kids will have purpose or direction in their life? Is there a way we can be sure that they will live moral and godly lives?
While these things are never guaranteed, I suggest that practicing intentionality would be a great help. Intentional parents will purposefully teach their kids about God’s intent for their lives.
Why Children Need Intentional Parents
One of the greatest keys to our success as parents is intentionality. If we aren’t intentional about what we and our kids are living life for, both we and our kids will meander aimlessly through life without living for anything but the day and ourselves.
When we know what God’s Word reveals about raising kids, and we’re determined to raise our kids according to His standards and expectations—which includes training our kids toward their own bent in life—then we have a target to shoot for.
If we aim at nothing, we’ll be sure to hit it. God has created all His children for a purpose, and it’s up to us to help our kids by being intentional toward filling the purpose for which they were made.
