Having an impact on your kids involves sharing wisdom.
It doesn’t involve sharing status.
A Lasting Impact
I previously spoke about a third-grade educated father who had a positive impact on his son. His son is educated and also has a tremendous impact on lives for Jesus around the world.
Despite your past, lack of education, or financial status, never underestimate your power to influence your child to do great things. Let me remind you that great men like D.L Moody and virtually all the apostles and prophets were men with no formal training. They were also dirt poor.
Your kids are not craving your money. They aren’t desiring your education, prestige, stellar past, or your social influence. What they are craving is you and the wisdom that comes along with your deeper understanding of God.
