Do you think it’s possible that we parents can do everything right when raising our kids according to God’s Word and still end up with a rebellious child? Well, you bet. Just remember who the only perfect parent was, and look what His first two kids did. To say that it’s not that important to raise our kids with a biblical worldview, however, is logically incongruent. How many points can a basketball player make if he never takes a shot? Only the naïve would say that raising up a child according to God’s Word doesn’t increase our chances of raising a mentally healthy, spiritually holy, and emotionally happy offspring.
