Deadbeat Dad [One Minute Feature]

Life’s situations sometimes have a parent, especially dads, frowned upon by society because of mistakes they have made, even when God has fully forgiven them. Do you think that kids are more forgiving than adults? Our God is a forgiving God, do you believe our society is a forgiving society when it comes to deadbeat parents.

Labeled a Deadbeat

I can think of no greater insult as a father than to be labeled deadbeat that if you have run out on your family and has failed to provide sustenance for your kids, I’ve got good news and bad news for you. For the dad that is determined to do his own thing and neglect his family, the bad news is there is no good news. But for the repentant dad who’s messed up things beyond imagination, there’s good news.

Not only is God gracious and powerful beyond imagination but our kids are resilient enough to overcome just about anything. It’s harder for adults for sure, but kids have an intrinsic desire and need to emotionally connect with their biological parents and dad, you are one of those parents.
