The way we act reflects our hearts.
It is the same way with our kids.
Bible Behavior
Our kids’ behaviors have a lot to do with what they believe about themselves, morality, your parental authority, life in general, the afterlife, and God. All things that scripture directly addresses and which are pertinent to our kids’ view of the world.
For example, if kids do not know about the Bible’s mandate to honor their parents they’ll be less likely to do so. This is why we must give a proper amount of time and discussion of scripture with our kids that goes beyond the discussion of Sunday church. Delving into scripture with our kids and helping them to apply it to the realities of daily life will help solidify in them the attitudes and behaviors that you, God, and they are actually looking for in others.
