Living a Christian life in today’s morally polluted world is not easy, but it can be done.
In today’s culture, it’s easy to fall into the virtual display of filth, how do we as parents keep our children from being polluted by the world?
Our Kids Are Looking For What Is Real.
One of today’s most overlooked liabilities for self-proclaimed Christian parents is when they are regularly and intentionally entertained by the mirrored R and X rated options these days. As Christian parents, it’s hard to reconcile genuine faith in Christ when we do this, especially when we allow our kids to join in on it all.
Consuming moral filth on TV, on the internet, in movies or music, is polluting our souls and the souls of our children. It also discredits all we claim to believe. Make all the claims you want to parents, your kids are always looking for what is real, especially in today’s virtual world. James 1:27 says that “real religion is keeping oneself from being polluted by the world.”
