Should kids have the same privileges as adults?

The answer is simple: No.
Absolutely Not
When you listen to all the parenting experts today it becomes easy to think that our kids should be afforded all the same privileges and grace that is afforded to adults. Is this wise? Is it scriptural?
Most scripture assumes an adult audience. Those mandates and principles designed for kids are obviously written to a different audience.
But aren’t double standards hypocritical? No, not always. Kids don’t have adult reasoning abilities and therefore aren’t held to the same account as adults. For most kids, childhood itself is one big grace experience. This is why we have to train our kids to make the right choices.
