Take a Break

You’re trying to make a living. Trying to get your child to soccer practice. Trying to prepare meals. Trying to keep your kids on top of their schoolwork. Could it be that you’re also trying to burn yourself out in the process? Despite, or in the middle of all the urgent tasks that we see as important, try this- stop! Stop because God will handle it. Try to quit trying.

Let’s be real; what really would change all that significantly if you just took 30 minutes to sit still and quiet? Perhaps before the Lord in prayer and contemplation. What would change is your attitude, your priorities, and your overall health. Let your brain recharge occasionally. You will be surprised at how refreshed you will actually feel.
