Have you ever considered using statistics to speak prudence and truth to your kids? For example, do your kids know that America, which is one of the richest and most materially blessed nations in the world, leads the world in teen suicide? But in Uganda, where the population is 50% HIV positive, the kids want to live. In addition, studies show that Christians are much happier than atheists.

Statistics like these and others show our kids that material blessings aren’t the end all to happiness that our culture would have us believe. Mankind is wired for something beyond the material world. Something only God can fulfill. These are statistics that our kids need to know.
