Don’t be ashamed of looking around your kids’ room.
In fact, it is a requirement for parenting.
Snoop Guilt
It is amazing that parents feel guilty about going in and snooping around in their kids’ rooms as if those rooms actually belonged to their children and their names were on the mortgage. As parents, we don’t just have the right to snoop. We have the responsibility to. Nowadays, it is just part of our job description as good parents. Especially when we suspect when something is wrong. Believe it or not, your kids will actually respect you for it.
Like making them eat their vegetables, they don’t have to like it to know deep down that you have their best interest in mind. Your kids will also experience a great sense of security knowing that you aren’t the gullible pushover so many parents are today.
