In addition to all of the spiritually and emotionally debilitating things that our kids are exposed to when given unfettered access to their own smartphones, like pornography, true death videos, and real-life threats from the Charles Manson’s of the world, new studies are now reinforcing old news about the additional physical dangers associated with unfettered smartphone use.

In 2011 the International Agency for Research on Cancer classified cell phones as a group 2B possible carcinogen. By 2018 two studies linked cell phone radiation to DNA damage and cancer. Cigarettes are linked to cancer, which is why kids cannot legally smoke. We should be pushing similar attitudes and laws about kids and smartphones.
