Peaceful Son

Is your child a delight to your soul? Does he or she bring you more peace than embarrassment and stress? It is a regret to say that it is becoming rare to see kids of any age that are well-behaved and well-disciplined. It seems that the busyness and exhaustion of many parents today have brought them to a place of being too easily pleased. The command to honor father and mother seems lost to busyness and political correctness.

I know that parents still love their kids despite life’s hectic pace, but many are not experiencing the peace with their children that they ought to be. Proverbs 29:17 says, “Discipline your son and he will give you peace. He will bring delight to your soul.”
