Works & Wonders

In the first verses of Psalm 78, the psalmist talks about the importance of passing on the works and wonders of God to our children. “We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power, and wonders he has done.”

Unfortunately, most of us are failing in this area and failing miserably. The kids coming to Shepherd’s Hill Academy come from predominantly Christian homes. I can tell you that their knowledge of Christian history confirms our failures.

If we would commit to giving our kids a more informed Biblical background, I think that this in and of itself could go a long way toward mitigating the insanity our culture is imposing on them.
