Scripture says that the sons of Issachar were men who understood their times and knew what to do. Times are continually changing. Therefore the methods of parenting our kids must change with them. But let’s not confuse changing methods with changing principles.

Our Godly principles must never change if we’re gonna stay true to Christ and expect our kids to grow up with Godly values, character, and abundant life. Just think about all the things our kids are tempted with today. Things that we did not have to deal with. How would we have handled it without adequate supervision and accountability? Supervision and accountability are the two things we will need to shore up to be effective parents in today’s world.
