It certainly shouldn’t be our primary motive or motive at all really. But someday, should we live long enough, we’re going to need some physical assistance. We might need some financial assistance as well.

Investing in our relationship with our kids will yield not only a lifetime of loving interaction with them later, but it will also make parenting a much more enjoyable experience right now.
