Are you shaping the lives of your children?

If you aren’t, they may be shaped by someone or something else.
Be the Influence
When we see kids sitting down, lying around, or walking down the road, with digital technology in their hands and ears, from the time they get up to the time they lay down at night, we should be asking, “Who or what is really shaping these kids’ lives?”
The popular biblical mandate of Deuteronomy 6:6-7 says, “These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them upon your children. Talk about them when you sit at home. When you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
So are we giving time and energy to impressing God’s word and values on our kids? Or are we allowing complete strangers, through digital devices, to do it for us?
