Honoring God

We can give our kids a better place to live than we inherited by helping to change our culture in a positive way. We can do this by genuinely committing ourselves to the person of Jesus Christ and taking it seriously. Not just on Sundays. The most effective cultural changes happen at the grassroots level.

It will happen when we allow the Lord to work through us as we die to ourselves and allow him to lead our lives rather than allowing our lives to be driven by carnal desires that are too often independent of God. This includes how we raise our kids. Remember, our kids are watching. Since this takes faith, let’s ask ourselves a very pointed question. In our own lives is Jesus getting what he paid for?
