Generations to Generations

We have an obligation to our posterity, yet teaching our kids the foundations in Scripture isn’t a guarantee they’ll never rebel. Just like giving them a life preserver doesn’t guarantee they’ll never drown.

Paraphrasing Psalm 78:4-7, it says, “We’ll tell the next generation about the praise-worth deeds of the Lord – His power and wonders. God decreed statutes and the law in Israel, which He commanded our forefathers to teach their children. So the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born. They, in turn, would tell their generation. Then they will trust in God and not forget His deeds. They will keep His commandments.
