One very popular TV host stated in a conversation with one of his guests, “The smartphone is the portal to all evil.” Why would he say this? Well, it is just like I have always said. The internet is too often like steroids to our sin nature.

This TV host went on to rightly say that smartphones make you a fake and are psychologically damaging adding that, “there’s my truth, your truth, but there is also the truth.” The guest agreed with him on every point. Are these wise words from your favorite TV evangelist? Not at all. All this came from the mouth, the foul mouth, of Bill Maher. His guest? Kid Rock. It is ironic that what used to be called common sense is now coming from the pit rather than the pulpit.
