Dad License [One Minute Feature]

Dads are supposed to be the head of the household, to lead their family in Christ. How do you think society has changed the roles of dads in our culture today? What way is it different from when you were growing up?

Society Dad

Our culture has muzzled men from being what God wired them to be. It’s no wonder they have backed up and backed out of assertive fathering. Today’s dads do not know whether to spit or wind their watches. They are told to use more heart than heat, more brain than brawn, and more grace than growl. All great things but let’s remember another one of dad’s great attributes, enforcer.

Divorcing discipline from love has been a failed experience. Remember our Lord and Savior took a whip and drove, not kids out of the temple but full grown adults, yet he didn’t sin. Dads, it is time we take back what God gave us and what culture stole from us.
