Don’t Be a Pirate

There are many things, like movies and music, that adults and kids can get free online. But many of those things are actually illegal to be getting free online. One healthy way to instill honesty and healthy moral values into our kids is to make sure that we ourselves are not viewing or listening to pirated material. We should not allow our kids to do this either.

When our kids see that we hold these high standards, even when the risk of being caught is minimal, it will help instill in them a measure of self-control self-respect that will carry over into other more critical areas of life-giving us and them a greater measure of trust in one another.
