Parent your kids to be a blessing to others.

Consideration

The other day I was in a hospital emergency room with my father-in-law. In a waiting room full of sick, injured, and infirm people, one mother was so engrossed in her magazine that she apparently didn’t notice or didn’t care that her two young sons (who were old enough to know better) were standing on and jumping off of the waiting room chairs repeatedly. Did I fail to mention the loud Tarzan and Cheeta sounds that they were making also?

I am seeing this kind of inconsiderate attitude and neglect becoming more and more common in young parents these days. So please remember that when we are raising our kids it is our duty before God to consider the thoughts and the feelings of those around us as well.
