Limiting your kids’ choices may just help.

I have said it many times before, but it is worth repeating- kids are afforded way too many choices today. This is at the expense of their emotional and spiritual health. Having too many choices is a systemic problem in America. A problem that too few parents understand, believe or care to come to grips with.

Arguably too many adults are afforded too many choices as well, but there is one choice that is preeminent over all others that we will ever make as parents. This choice is preeminent because it will benefit the emotional and spiritual health of not just our kids but ourselves as well. Choose this day who you will serve- the world and its ways or God and His ways. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
