Video content is one thing, but wasting time is yet another.
There’s certainly nothing wrong with our kids watching videos on the internet unless, of course, they are inappropriate.
The Importance of Creative Activities
But even when they are appropriate there ought to be a concern among parents that time otherwise spent on something constructive is too often being squandered on mindless cat videos or other things that have no form of redemptive value for our kids.
For some reason, too many of us equate making our kids do something constructive or creative like piano lessons or any other number of creative activities that bring joy and/or value to their future lives, with committing the unpardonable sin. My experience is that a child should borrow from the brains and experience of their loving parents. In the end, it always pays off.
