Especially when it comes to blowups.

Blow Up

The more I work with kids the more I realize just how far off the mark our entire culture is when it comes to raising them. This includes our church kids. I see parents who work so hard to appease their kids for the purpose of avoiding blow-ups. This happens from infancy to the teen years.

If parents worked half as hard to discipline and train their kids not to blow up in the first place they would be shaping more well-adjusted kids and future adults. Their parenting experience would also be a lot more pleasant for them and everyone else involved. Don’t let our politically correct culture intimidate you into doing anything less than training your kids from the earliest age possible in the way they should go. It’s never too late to start.
