Too Much

When you had a few tools and supplies in your garage you not only knew where to find them all, you knew how to properly use them all. Then over time, you acquired a lot more tools and supplies and that is when you had trouble actually finding what you needed. So you would go to the hardware store and buy what you swore you already had only to stumble upon the thing a month or two later. The point is that too much of anything can be as exasperating and debilitating as not enough.

The internet is the same way. Our kids are flooded with content, much of it false, and it is proving to be just as exasperating and debilitating as not having it at all. To cite George Bernard Shaw- false knowledge really is more dangerous than ignorance. Talk to your kids about that.
