Redemption

What do you tell your kids about America? Are you defining America and judging her by the division we’re seeing today? And the worst of what we once were? Or are you defining America by the heart that she’s always been? Our kids need to know the whole truth. We’ve made mistakes – big ones- but what nation hasn’t? The fact that America recognizes the mistakes, and works to rectify them should tell us something very profound about this country. It’s the reason why people from other countries want to come here.
