The once great Boy Scouts of America is no longer just for boys. Thanks to our politically correct society, girls are now to be included, changing some of the dynamics and values once held by the Boy Scouts.
The changes coming to the Boy Scouts of America may have you searching for alternative scouting options for your son. If not, you may want to reconsider.
Why Parents Should Be Wary That The Boy Scouts Are No Longer Just For Boys
Last time, for those interested in scouting, I advised you to look for alternatives to the Boy Scouts, but because of time constraints, I didn’t get to tell you way. First, the illogic of girls in the Boy Scouts should be enough. This is yet another honored institution dishonoring itself by ceding territory to our culture’s politically-correct, yet unscientific, agenda to discredit the gender binary. Second, constructive conversations, learning, and healthy gender identity are much better achieved without the natural distractions of the opposite sex—making scouting’s original goal more attainable. Third, it’s another attack on maleness. If more girls want to learn what the boys are learning, then transform the Girl Scouts instead—and leave the boys alone.
