Growing in Faith as a Family

Never allow your kids to think that you will get “freaked out” if they ever express doubt about God or scripture. If you do, you’re setting them up for exasperation and anger while playing Russian roulette with their souls.

Seriously. Don’t you want to know where your kids are truly at spiritually? If they can’t freely express their doubts and fears to you they will find solace in their Facebook friends. Many of those friends you have never met.

Expressing their doubts will not only free them up to be more honest with you in other areas of life, but it will firm you up with a greater ability to defend your own faith. And in today’s information age, you will do well to get firmed up sooner rather than later.
