School is starting all across the nation.
It is important that you learn to prioritize education in your teen’s life.
As much as I hate to say it, too many parents are more concerned with Junior making grades and making the team than with his eternal soul and earthly character.
We all know what Jesus said in Mark 8:36, “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul?”
Not only will raising kids with the love and fear of the Lord equip them to be better contributors and candidates in the marketplace, it will also provide them eternal rewards. Making the grades and making the team are fine and should be encouraged.
But, let’s put things in perspective. Matthew 6:33 says, “Seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness—and all these things will be added to you.”
