Abundant Life

We all want God’s blessing, both parents and kids alike. Is it possible that our own culture could be blinding us to what is really keeping us from experiencing what Jesus called abundant life? Our culture’s love affair with entertainment that grieved the heart of God has so blinded our eyes that even Christian parents are amused by, laugh at, and sing along with their kids what used to be considered obscene.

Just because perversions in entertainment have now become mainstream in our culture there is no reason for us or our kids to accept them as normal, much less actually pay to be entertained by them ourselves. Just because our culture is declining doesn’t mean we or our kids have to forfeit God’s abundant life.
