Many experts say our postmodern culture and the advent of smartphones have been responsible for losing an entire generation to immoral, unnatural, illogical, and ungodly attitudes, actions, and addictions. What we need to do as parents from the time our children can talk is to be intentional and aggressive in modeling and teaching our kids how to swim upstream against so many cultural norms. Homeschooling would be preeminent. Also, children can have phones, but not smartphones.

Next, we must offer our children a steady diet of redemptive and apologetic teachings and even good movies. They will catch on. It happens all the time at Shepherd’s Hill Academy. Use your smartphone to find these resources, because they are out there.
