Covid masks. Effective in slowing the spread or not?
Well, they certainly restrict speech.
Masks & Mandates
One thing I’m sure of is that nobody is actually sure about how effective masks have been in protecting the average American against Covid. Certainly, masks have had their place but our kids don’t seem to need them. But professionals can’t seem to agree about that either!
Now that the mask mandate has been lifted (sort of) I’m calling them what they could have been called perhaps from the beginning: muzzles.
They’ve muzzled too many of us from using our freedom and speaking up about varying scientific opinions about their pros and cons. Whatever health risk we take in not wearing our muzzles, or failing to air differing opinions about them, like cowering to political correctness without rebuttal.
