As the struggle to get your kid to church intensifies on Sunday morning, here are some tips for keeping your cool.
It’s Sunday morning and Junior is determined not to go to church. Well, what do you do?
Privileges and Family Attendance
It’s Sunday morning and Junior is determined not to go to church. Well, what do you do?
What you don’t do is yell and scream. You simply affirm your love and convey your acceptance of the church or God not being his top priority in life. You can’t control that.
What you do have control over is Junior’s household privileges. God and family mean most to you, but your child is now interfering with that. Inform Junior that you will now be interfering with what appears to mean most to him or her. Cellphones, video games, and the like will not be a part of Junior’s day until church attendance and fighting about it is no longer a problem.
