Child Sacrifices [One Minute Feature]

In our culture today as we carry the load of providing for our families, do we sacrifice our kids unaware? Are we letting society raise them?

Don’t Sacrifice

The bible is pretty clear about how God feels about parents who engage in child sacrifice. Considering our fast-paced lifestyles today, could we be guilty of committing child sacrifice in a totally different way. We may not be throwing our kids into the flames of instant death, but are we making them endure a longer, slower death of another sort by the simple fact that smartphones are with them more than we are.
Have our careers been our God’s as we sacrifice our relationship with our kids at the altar of work? One thing we will never say on our deathbed is this, “I wish I would have spent more time at the office.” We have about 18 years of choices to make on behalf of our kids, so let’s choose well.
