Should you be suspicious of your teen’s friends?
In today’s parenting video, we answer this question.
Suspicious of Your Teen’s Friends?
It’s easy to be overly trusting toward our kids’ friends—especially as they wordsmith the outward courtesy of Eddy Haskel—the cunning 1950’s Leave it to Beaver character. That’s why it’s important for us to do a little investigative work when it comes to who our kids are hanging around with.
Certainly, we aren’t naive enough to believe that they’re all little Billy Grahams. We shouldn’t be overly suspicious of Junior’s friends; but, we don’t want to be naive either. We live in a day of temptation and evil opportunity unlike any other. So, let’s be wise and discerning when it comes to who we allow our kids to befriend; because, as the Bible says: “bad company corrupts good character.”
