In today’s world, the gospel has been depleted and falsely spoken by those who claim to preach by God’s standards. Do you see the difference in God’s standards of truth and beauty from the world’s standards? Do you believe there are false prophets who turn from God’s standards?

God’s Standards

Before our kids can fully benefit from the gospel or the good news, they must deal with the bad news and this does not make you or me the doomsday people for acknowledging it. Our world is a dangerous mess but we shouldn’t dwell on it too long before we repent and resolve our own love affairs with what our Godless world mistakenly sees as true and beautiful.

God’s standards for truth and beauty can look vastly different from what we and our kids have acquired appetites for. When we keep hearing everything and everyone is okay, especially from clergymen, just know there are plenty of scriptures that warn us against provents and preachers who fail to speak the whole counsel of God.
