Content Overload

When you had a few tools and supplies in your garage you not only knew where to find them all but how to use them all. Over time you acquire even more tools and supplies. Suddenly you have a lot more trouble finding what you need. Maybe you go to the hardware store to purchase the thing you thought you had but couldn’t find only to stumble upon that very thing in your garage a month or two later.

The point is that too much of anything can be just as exasperating and debilitating as not enough. The internet is like that. Our kids are flooded with content that often proves to be false anyway. This content proves to be just as exasperating and debilitating as not having it at all. “False knowledge really is more dangerous than ignorance.”
