As parents, we want the best for our children while making them successful in society.

Society Kids [One Minute Feature]

Wanting the best for our children, can it have an adverse effect on them? How can we accommodate our children without raising a narcissist?

Raising Our Kids With The Greater Good Of Society In Mind

There’s nothing wrong with wanting the best for our kids, except when wanting their best comes at the expense of everyone else around them. We have all seen parents who make every effort to selfishly plow through the protocols of life to make sure their children are noticed and accommodated first and foremost. Now that’s a recipe for creating a future narcissist.

If we raise our kids with the greater good of society in mind, then I think we will be on track for having kids and future adults who will be emotionally stable and well-adjusted to truly succeed in life. They will be more likely to be focused on others and those others will be more likely to reciprocate opportunities for their success.
