Two Sides to Every Story

How often have we as parents reacted to a story or accusation by one child without hearing the other side of the story?

Proverbs 18:17 says, “The first to present his case seems right until another comes forward and questions him.”

This scenario doesn’t just play out with our kids, but in other interpersonal relationships as well. Be aware, our kids are taking notice of how fairly we conduct ourselves with others. I think it matters to God as well. One sure way to earn our kid’s trust is to hear all sides of the story before coming to a judgment.
