Nuts or the Beach
But on long trips, the right exception could be a good idea. The other day, my wife and I took our daughter and her friend to the beach. It was about an eight-hour trip. We let the two of them watch a Christian standup comedian. God as my witness… the laughing went on for hours straight. It could have driven me nuts, instead – it got me to the beach.
Just knowing my 16-year-old girl and her friend were having the time of their lives enjoying a vessel of God was a great blessing to me and to them.
